Installation:

Sentinel Protection Installer 7.5.0.exe contains the system drivers for the Sentinel Pro Dongle from Safenet. These drivers are normally installed during the installation of RPS v3.7 and higher.  They are required for Windows NT/2000/XP.  If a message appears that displays "Invalid or missing hardware key", then these drivers were not installed properly.  Follow the steps below to install the drivers manually.


1) On the RPS CD, double-click the file named "Sentinel Protection Installer 7.5.0.exe".
2) Follow the on-screen instructions to install.
3) After the installation is complete, reboot the PC.


Problems with Safenet Sentinel Pro Drivers:

If you experience any problems with the Safenet Sentinel Pro Drivers, you may run "SSDCleanup1.2.0.5.exe" to remove them and then reinstall the drivers by running "Sentinel Protection Installer 7.5.0.exe".

CAUTION: Running this cleanup utility may remove some files from the computer that are necessary to run RPS properly. If problems occur with RPS after running this utility, you will need to reinstall the RPS software.
